Chancellor Rachel Reeves has not called me at a press conference for the second time in succession after taking questions from Sky, BBC (twice), and ITV (twice) among others. When I asked her to take a question from @GBNEWS moment ago she declined. This is an insult to the huge numbers who now tune in to the UK’s number one news channel.

@johnnyddavidson So would have another coach. Not saying that he doesn't need to leave, but of judge of success is ashes and worldcup, we may never have a successful coach.

@johnnyddavidson This may be the 1st series in ages where we don't have the pack to compete. Size / aggression etc not usually the issue. It's skill / management where we tend to lack.

York and Toulouse WILL get some central distribution. They were told at the last minute they'll get half what the other 12 will get: so around £650,000. Clint Goodchild said York hadn't budgeted for it, so it's a bonus.

Paul Rowley’s strengths as a coach have always seemed to be getting journeymen and middle/lower table calibre of players performing beyond their means…therefore I expect him to go well at Saints

Apart from a growing fanbase, an exciting location, some exciting recruitment, a facility that would instantly be one of the best in Super League, a thriving junior system and a new area for the sport to get stuck into. Apart from that, York have NOTHING to add, agreed.

@GaryHigh1977 @NoHelmetsReq I get that. But I just don't think it would work. If the ref misses something (which can happen without any fault) and it's really clear on the replay but the try is still given, that isn't worth it for me. I'd rather they check that award a try that shouldn't be (or visa versa)

I wish video refs would stop desperately trying to find reasons to disagree with the referee rather than. Just checking he’s not made an obvious mistake.
