El programa de rebates empieza la semana que viene y va a devolver hasta un 50% de las fees a los que más operen con un bonus único al cambiar de nivel. Spoiler: no me gusta. Polymarket, a partir de la semana que viene, te reembolsará un porcentaje de las fees que pagues como taker y los rebates se pagan todos los días en pUSD. Para quien no lo sepa, las órdenes taker son aquellas que haces a mercado. Las caras. Tendremos, como vemos en la tabla, hasta 7 niveles dependiendo del volumen que vayas generando. Cuanto más alto es el nivel, mayor el rebate. Va desde un 3% en Bronze hasta un 50% en Obsidian. Esto sería genial si no fuese por la forma en la que se está aplicando. El volumen se calcula de la siguiente forma: Tamaño de la operación × (1 − Precio de entrada) × Peso de categoría × Bonificaciones. Estamos viendo que si nos movemos sobre los 95c para arriba no generamos casi volumen. La gente se piensa que este tipo de apuestas son "dinero regalado". ¿Queremos acordarnos de qué pasó el 28 de febrero? Todas eran 99,5c y no recuerdo un día peor en cripto porque en cuestión de minutos se fue todo el dinero que ganamos en meses. Quieren que, para generar volumen, te la juegues con tu dinero a apuestas de cara o cruz. Pierdes 5.000$ pero ganas un bonus de 50$ y muchas promesas de rewards futuras con $POLY. Casualmente, ayer @Crypto_Pranjal subió un post donde hablaba de haber perdido 7.000$ en una de 98c, por eso le estoy haciendo quote hablando de esto ya que nos puede pasar a todos. Esto es un sin sentido, amigos. Con todo el respeto y por no decir otra cosa pero no todo vale.

New big hint on the $POLY airdrop formula just dropped from Polymarket. We already knew trading volume would be one of the criteria and now we have a much clearer idea of how it may be calculated: wV = Trade Size × (1 − Entry Price) × Category Weight The key part here is the Entry Price. A lot of people farmed millions in volume by buying shares at 99% or 99.9%, so this is really bad news for bonders. Most of that volume will end up having barely any weight.

If @Polymarket & team goes with volume as main criteria, most of the real users will get cooked.... The farmers are only generating volume by wash trading Therefore volume should be a minor multiplier, not the core metric..... Instead they should reward based on; accuracy over long periods, holding duration, event diversity, liquidity providers/market makers etc...
