Some of these self-proclaimed "Storm chasers" are a bigger threat than the storm itself
If you can't/ don't know how to drive to conditions, you shouldn't be on the road
Hope we don't see this kind of behavior up in Southern #Ontario with the number of kids suddenly becoming storm chasers

Hypothetically speaking...
You leave the #GTA heading towards the snowbelts and the weather is 📸 #1
There are no weather alerts in effect for your destination, no mention of poor driving conditions by local media, everything seems fine
You get to the snowbelts, the wind is gusting 40-50+km/hr, visibility is poor at times from the significant blowing snow, heavily drifted and ice packed roads (📸 #2)
The question is now, why do we have alerts if they aren't used. Sure it might be a normal day for those that live in the area and are used to it but what about those traveling to the area from elsewhere and have absolutely no clue what they are getting themselves into
There have been dozens of collisions in the area with more likely this evening
Extremely frustrating when there is no accountability
At what point do we demand an inquiry as to what has been going on over the past couple of months/ years?
