Markets don't print all time highs when the Navy is losing a war. The S&P drew down 9% during the full Iranian closure, barely scratching correction territory, and closed Friday above 7,000 after the Navy blockaded Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf. Iran re-routed ships around Larak this morning trying to reclaim leverage. The market already stress-tested this thesis and priced the answer. The IRGC and the political leadership are in opposition to one another; they cannot decide on a united front and the IRGC took action over the weekend without permission from Araghchi. You know it. 🇮🇷🇺🇸 The U.S claims it wiped out much of Iran's weapons. Iran's own commander says they're restocking faster now than before the war started. Intelligence sources believe roughly half of Iran's missile launchers are still intact, and thousands of attack drones remain operational. Somebody is lying, or both sides believe their own version. This gap matters because if Washington genuinely thinks Iran is neutralized, they'll miscalculate the next move. If Tehran is bluffing about the rebuild speed, Iran's adversaries will miscalculate too. Source: CNN
