@finnster1977 They DID take Ballygar...For a while but like a good Galway club they came back to us! Come to think of it they also took Glinsk until the 1970's!
English

@Gerry_Flan93 Biting at this is exactly the point of his columns methinks. Ignore ignore and ignore again is the only way
English

@JohnStagg5 @finnster1977 They are two strong Galway groups in fairness John. Both should be there or thereabouts in terms of the All Ireland
English

@finnster1977 Two tough defeats to ye're u14(connacht final) and u16(rd one) ladies today so taken to the 🍺
English

@GerardOC2022 @GaelicGameStats @TheNumbersGael He stopped kicking them off the deck when he injured his quad taking one two years ago. Shane the same
English

Have been asked a question:
"[]Do you know the last time the Galway Senior footballers converted a 45 outside of Shane Walsh? Looks like they're the only top team without a consistent 45 kicker. []"
@TheNumbersGael - do you know?
English

@TheNumbersGael @GaelicGameStats Fuck all. He had lived a handful and missed a load more. Walsh and Tierney both suffered quad injuries kicking frees off the ground so don’t take them anymore. It’s a huge problem for us
English

@GaelicGameStats Unfortunately not. I just record placed ball without distinction. Surely Connor Gleeson has hit a few 45s? In his time?
English

@OdhranLoughrey @m_brosnan Hooter had gone apparently, I’m not sure how that logic works tho, because it was only a second after he kicked the ball. What if the keeper touched it and it went in?
English

@SmallerFishGAA We are playing terribly but this referee is a joke
English

@SmallerFishGAA Is there a solution to the 2 point free problem? I assume it’s there to stop people just fouling all the time just outside the arc and giving up one point rather than a potential two pointer. Nothing worse than watching a goalie coming up kicking a two pointer free though.
English

@m_brosnan @ExaminerSport Our kickout is a huge problem to be solved.
English

Mentioned a few weeks ago on @ExaminerSport podcast that former Cavan manager Raymond Galligan was working with Galway now. Arrived with the team here.

The Galway senior Footballers have arrived in Austin Stack Park, Tralee ahead of our Round 3 clash vs Kerry in the National Football League 🇶🇦🇶🇦 #riseofthetribes #gaillimhabú
English

@DeasunO Take your point re 3rd level Gaa. Comer won an under 21 All Ireland medal and was in with Galway seniors before he ever played 3rd level ball though
English

@JohnstonSe30099 If he reffed it right it would have been a free to Galway in the first place before the potential black card tackle. Very frustrating ref
English

@Gerry_Flan93 Galway made 6 subs
None appeared to be head injury related
English

@ArmaghEejit @SmallerFishGAA It was probably a black. But the Galway player was blatantly fouled in the first place immediately before Molloy’s tackle.
English

@SmallerFishGAA But also in fairness they should have had a second black at the same time.
English

@SmallerFishGAA Why don’t they ban the handpassed point anyway? Make lads kick a score
English

@GerardOC2022 @finnster1977 To be fair lads - playing without any midfielders at all is going to put you under pressure on kickouts. Strange selection
English

@finnster1977 At least they got it back to a score. A 15 point drubbing would have ended the season before it started!
English

@TomasORuanaidh Didn’t think we’d get that close with the team that was named. Huge amount of bodies missing and no actual midfielder on the team at all
English

Forget the two point frees, Hennelly’s multiple saves secured Mayo that win in Salthill 👏 rightfully awarded motm by Tg4 also !
Mayo 3-18 2-18 Galway, an absolute cracker!
Time to switch down to Killarney because the Rossies are leading Kerry on 64 mins #GAA
Tommy Rooney@TomasORuanaidh
Rob Hennelly 👏 that was some strike
