@ProfRvach @speechwoman I’m curious as well re MSD-NOS and how much it is being used in clinical practice + guidelines for dx (some signs consistent with CAS but not meeting criteria for CAS)?

@speechwoman Serious question: what are the criteria for a developmental dysarthria diagnosis? And then there is the sub-clinical dysarthria idea (I think some lateral lisps fall into this). I personally do not know what MSD-NOS is, I can’t figure it out.

❓OPINIONS: Some clients don't QUITE qualify for a CAS or developmental dysarthria diagnosis, but to the trained ear have a motor element to their SSD (as in MSD-NOS). Privately, clinicians may say they sound /dɪsaˈθɹɪkˈiː/ or /dɪsˈpɹækˌsɪkˈiː/. How'd you spell those non-words?
