@javadm20 I don’t really like ablating in tachy for several reasons so when there is nodal/pathway fusion during V pacing I do an extra trans-septal puncture and place a steerable decapolar in the lateral LV. Makes it very easy to map and ablate

Case 1: concealed left sided AP with known behavior! CS branch or LV pacing will help! Otherwise you’ve to map during tachy! #Epeeps

@LisaForteUK As a Dr I can tell you that often when patients get the report of a test BEFORE seeing their doctor to explain it to them, whether that be blood results, biopsies or MRI scans, the information in the report OFTEN causes unnecessary anxiety and a panicked call to my office.

It’s not like I’m going to get the report, read it, somehow understand the terminology and then decide on an impulse to follow along to a you tube tutorial on hip surgery 🤣 I just want to be able to take it to a dr 🤣

So apparently the MRI scan I paid for I’m not allowed to be sent the report!?! They will send it to a Dr but not me. I know some will say it’s for xyz reasons, heard them all, understand them but don’t agree. I paid for it, I want to be able to take it to a dr I pick

We just finished a 10-hour operation. We managed to save the patient from the brink of death. If you respect our work, leave a kind word. ❤️

@Hragy I was a fellow in the femoral and subsequently radial era and we were all used to pulling femoral sheaths safely and effectively but nowadays they don’t have the experience and I agree best left to ‘old hands’. Hard to write for a while after tho 😂

I am so #RadialFirst to the extent that if I perform #SafeFemoral I like to pull the sheath out and manually press myself, I do not like to leave it to fellows and nurses when I can, am a little paranoid!

@Rainmaker1973 Cost to hospital of the latest drug eluting stents in UK ABOUT $200. Patients don’t pay anything to have them put in. We are so lucky

When blindly introducing a Swan Ganz PA-catheter from the left neck side, another dangerous surprise could be the unexpected presence of LSVC (left superior vena cava) #echofirst ⚠️ Inflating the balloon of the catheter can cause a fatal rupture of the coronary sinus ⚠️
Nikolay Dranishnikov, MD@NDranish

Unexpected finding in #echofirst TOE pre Heart-TX. I had a strange feeling and didn’t introduce the Swan-Ganz blindly in the induction room, probably avoiding fatal PE. Do you always check for intracardiac thrombi before putting the Swan-Ganz in?

The AQUATIC trial may be the most definitive trial of #ESCCOngress The common combo of ASA and OAC for pts with CAD/stent and AF is clearly been harming people. Lots. MACE worse, Death worse, Bleeding way worse. STOP THE ASA when on OAC nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

@SportsandGT Why not go on a circular route near home and do a hundred miles as a test run. if it goes well go 4 it and if you break down you’re not far from home. Cars were made for driving pleasure. I’ve got an Eclat in my garage with a broken chassis but I’d be daily driving if not

I’ve been invited to display my Esprit at a special anniversary event at a place I’ve always wanted to go to. BUT… it’s 150 miles away. Do I accept or chicken out for fear of a breakdown on the way?

@Suzierizzo1 UPS drivers don’t collect tariffs 😂🤡 They are paid by the importer which passes cost on to consumer as increased price , not a separate charge. Not to mention it on most tariffs are on a 90 day hold anyway while they negotiate .👎

This lady bought some items that totaled $750 and then paid $250 in shipping fees, but then she received a bill from the UPS driver for the charges for tariffs which are $761 on top of that. This is insanity! The news showed numerous stories last night of this happening too. 😡😡

@Neverbackdown2A @DrNeilStone Do you suffer from regular worm infestations? Live on a farm? Handle dog or cat excrement regularly? If so, that would explain your affinity for ivermectin. If not, read a book and stop tweeting nonsense
