Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, marking the start of the 16 days of Activism. In 2023 every 10 minutes globally a woman is killed by a partner or family member. In 2022 the rate was one woman killed every 11 minutes. 1 minute matters. This increase in rate of women killed equates to: 💔 13 more women killed every day 💔 92 more women killed every week 💔 398 more women killed each month 💔 4,773 more women killed in a year Every life matters.
