@chucker @mjtsai This should be the default. After 7 months, I still find the hover & wait annoying. Sometimes I'll know I want the proxy icon right away, but I can't seem to develop the muscle memory to remember it is <shift> to display the icon immediately on hover. I don't do it often enough.

Want old-style proxy icons and a bigger grabbable title bar back? `defaults write com.apple.finder NSWindowSupportsAutomaticInlineTitle -bool false` and `killall Finder`! /cc @mjtsai (found this by accident at reddit.com/r/MacOS/commen…)

@chucker @mjtsai @boredzo I think I accidentally enabled this at a global level when @mjtsai first posted about it. It made Safari look strange — the vertical alignment of buttons was off. Mail got a title bar back, but icons on the bar were rendered blurry. Took me a bit to figure out what happened.

@mjtsai @boredzo Well, it stands to reason that disabling “Automatic Inline Title” affects more than just the proxy icon. I.e., that Mail would move its title back to the center, one row above.
