@ShortStopBall You are not wrong. The Royals are doing no better with Thomas batting third! Also not Cags in their lineup. I would have Olson third and Riley 4th but agree with the rest.

My first critique of a Weiss lineup: Ozzie 3rd right now feels bad. I know his great history against lefties. He likely get 2 ABs vs. Ragans and then 2 against righty relievers. Acuña, Baldwin, Riley, Olson, Albies mass more sense to me.

@Braves I am not sure which lineup is worse. The Braves or the Royals??? One has a platoon player hitting third and the other has someone who struggled to hit .250 and hit into double plays batting third. WTF??? Are these managers just seeing who can put out a worse lineup???

My opinion: - Thomas hits third so he gets multiple ABs while Sale is in the game. (Career .859 OPS vs. LHP. - Sale held lefties to a .163 BA last year. (.233 against RHH). - As for Cags, it’s more about making Sale face more RHH than lack of faith in Cags.

@JohnyJ_15 Best hitter and someone who can drive in runs! I dont care what his numbers are against LHP. You dibt see the Yankees or the Dodgers or the Tigers putting a platoon hitter who is good against LHP in your prime RBI spot! If we want to beat those teams we need to put in our best
