A quiet group of people are getting paid $50–$150/hour to train the AI. While people are arguing about AI taking jobs... Actual platforms hiring right now. Here are 4: 1. Mercor → work.mercor.com/explore Mercor connects professionals directly to AI labs. Your job is simple: • review AI answers • correct its reasoning • help train the models Some roles reportedly pay $90–$150/hr depending on expertise. You’re not competing with AI. You’re literally teaching it. 2. Mindrift → mindrift.ai/apply Mindrift hires people to help improve AI systems. Typical work: • evaluating responses • writing prompts • fixing model outputs All Remote and Flexible. You complete tasks whenever projects are available. 3. micro1 → micro1.ai/jobs micro1 is basically a pipeline into AI startups and Silicon Valley companies. Their system matches engineers with companies building AI infrastructure. Some roles go six figures. 4. Turing → developers.turing.com Turing has been connecting global developers with US tech companies for years. Now a lot of the demand is AI-related roles. Remote work. Global hiring. Here’s the crazy part: The biggest AI companies still depend heavily on human trainers. Humans to: • guide the models • test their reasoning • evaluate outputs • improve responses Without humans, AI doesn’t get smarter. So while the internet debates "AI replacing jobs" A new profession is quietly emerging: AI Trainers. And most people won’t notice it until the opportunity window is already gone. This are the kind of jobs, you that is complaining of having no experience can apply for. As a human I’m sure you listen to people speak all the time. So you should be able to evaluate human and ai responses etc Mercor is also available in Nigeria, although I must add that hiring process for Nigerians there is scarce. You can get lucky, you never know🍀 try to apply

I’ve been looking for someone who knows how to apply for jobs on Mercor and Handshake AI, but I haven’t found anyone yet 😩. They pay really well, but I honestly don’t know how to navigate these sites yet. Biko, if you understand how it works, please DM me😩😩

Some passages of writing deserve to be rendered in images. I still remember the feeling the first time I read the autobiography West with the Night by Beryl Markham. She flew airplanes over the African continent, gazing down upon a wild, primordial land bursting with life.

Dario and Demis at Davos on AI jobs impact. Dario says we are headed to “unusual situation of high GDP growth and high unemployment” with 50% unemployment for entry level jobs within 5 years. Demis responds to Dario’s prediction and says he has a “longer timeline”. The models still have to solve for “consistency” and the “jagged intelligence” issue. An agent that can do 95% of a job won’t replace the job, it would have to do 100% and that’s still a ways away.

We’ve raised our $350M Series C at a $10B valuation from @felicis, @benchmark, and @generalcatalyst. Just 2 years after starting, Mercor is paying $1.5 million per day to experts in our marketplace. We’re creating a new category of work in the AI economy, where software engineers, bankers, lawyers, and other professionals earn based on their experience while advancing the frontier of AI. While most new categories take time to build momentum, we’ve broken every growth record. For comparison, in their first 2 years: - Uber paid out just over a $1 million to drivers - Airbnb paid out $10 million to hosts We are unlocking human potential in the AI economy.

Elon’s famous analogy: “Every person in your company is a vector. Your progress is determined by the sum of all vectors”. At big companies, vectors often point to different directions. The sum is zero. xAI has a small team of engineers, but every vector points at the same direction. The sum ends up big.
