@mrssim19 @GuptonTeaches How valuable would an asynchronous day be to our teachers... time to give meaningful feedback on student work. The last thing teachers want to do during prep is look at the screen more.

@GuptonTeaches I do put a stoppage time on responding to emails which is helpful but I’m still up way too many nights planning. Hybrid has me feeling like I’ve never taught before.

@mrssim19 @GuptonTeaches Gotta have a cut-off. Too much work to get done in a day so just do what you can. Your energy is much more valuable in a classroom than your planned lesson

@mrssim19 Try proving the screens up higher or tilting the monitor, I do that with my own. Change your eye level between classes maybe??

Anyone else getting awful pain at the base of the neck/mid of shoulder blades from teaching hybrid on a cart? After my 4 classes in a row I can’t look up or down w/o awful pain. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

My school email has been filled w/edu groups offering their insight a/o resources to better discuss race in the classroom. While I’m happy to have more to help me be a better ally & understand my privilege as a white woman I just can’t shake the feeling of insincerity here 1/3
