NEW: Uber driver claims Hazel Crest officer slammed him to the ground during arrest while trying to help a passenger at an ATM
On Valentine’s Day, Uber driver Jason Young stopped at a Walgreens in Hazel Crest to help a passenger withdraw cash from an ATM.
Officers were informed that a man was kicking an ATM and had also unplugged the machine.
Bodycam video shows Young standing at the ATM on his phone when a Hazel Crest officer suddenly rushes in, shouts commands, and slams him to the ground.
Young repeatedly asks, “What the f*** did I do to you, bro?” The officer never identifies himself.
No charges were filed against Young, and he was released at the scene.
An internal investigation found the officer’s use of force “not appropriate,” and the officer received corrective discipline and additional training.
Young has hired a civil rights attorney to represent his case.

Plastic blenders are a source of microplastics that most people overlook.
Those with plastic jars or pitchers release microplastics, and even nanoplastics, into blended food or drinks due to friction and mechanical abrasion during blending.
A single 30-second blending cycle can release up to 1 billion (yes, with a "b") micro- and nanoplastic particles.
BPA-free products are safer but can still release particles due to heavy use, heat, or abrasion. My advice is to switch to a completely stainless-steel blender. It's the only way to avoid contamination.

FSD scared the crap out of me and my wife.
We were headed out of town and my wife was taking zoom calls in the backseat and I was relaxing letting FSD do all of the work. We were following behind a cement truck and as we went through the intersection, the cement truck ran the light at the last minute, as soon as FSD was able to see the light it turned red and FSD slammed on the brakes. My wife’s laptop went sliding across the car, but we got stopped, and then FSD backed us up behind the line.

@kcook76 @FAFO_TV This is not necessarily a wide open area. We cant see 360 here. There could be a home right behind the cameraman. But he wasn't trained once the tree started falling he should've darted away as trees can always split downwards & the base of the tree tends to be a kill zone.

I cut down probably around 50+ trees a year. This tree is in the wide open, one of the easiest cuts out there and you do not need any sort of strap. And... if you are using a strap, a 3-point is the way to go so this does not happen. But this cut... nothing easier, it just not get easier than this. He truly did FAFO.
