On Gabe Perreault: You can understand why he'd want to start the clock on his entry-level contract right away and get on the fast track to bigger, future deals. He and his agent could push for it, but from a #NYR perspective, I imagine they'd much rather start his ELC in the fall and get the full three seasons out of it. And while everyone I've spoken to raves about Perreault's skill, creativity and IQ, I've heard skepticism about whether he's physically ready to play NHL games right now. Maybe they force the Rangers' hand, but a stint in the AHL might be a wise stepping stone. I wrote about it all last week 👉lohud.com/story/sports/n…

It came down to one goal in Game 7 between two incredible teams. The Florida Panthers came out on top. Overall, the @Sportlogiq model went 13-2 in the playoffs, correctly predicting the final 3 series, each in the exact number of games. Games broadcast by @espn B-team are so much better than the A-team because the B producer limits the dizzying camera-angle switching. Also I happen to think Bob Wischusen is fantastic on hockey.
