She also discussed how USAID funded journalists not only to report the news, but also to “fact-check” incoming information. USAID directed nearly $500 million to the Internews Network, a little-known NGO funded by the U.S. government. The organization worked with 4,291 media outlets, produced 4,799 hours of broadcasts in a single year, reached as many as 778 million people, and trained more than 9,000 journalists by 2023. Internews also supported social media censorship initiatives. USAID also funded and trained thousands of lawyers, judges, and election workers, conducted polls that questioned election legitimacy, published reports alleging fraud, and participated in overseeing new elections both in the United States and abroad, among many other activities. On the contrary, Elon Musk and DOGE actually saved millions of children. By cutting USAID influence, they let parents freely reject leftist failures on crime, economy, and socialism at the polls without manipulation.
