English language places the name for the fear of long words as 'hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia' or 'sesquipedalophobia'. Now, if there are persons who actually have this phobia(fear),which I know they exist, how do they react when they find out that the term used to describe their problem is a long word itself? Do they fear the new word or just laugh over it?
