That is a basic adult thing to do. Do not call or text anybody to pay for you unless you are requesting a salary advance from your employer

When you wake up in the morning and you’re hungry, go to the kitchen and make yourself something to eat… you’re an adult. Why are you waking another adult to make something for you to eat? You’re an adult, act like one. Unless, of course, the person you’re waking up is someone you employed for that purpose, and that person is surely not your spouse.
