My understanding is after this season, ACC will have 16 teams play 9 games and 1 team play 8. That team will rotate but sounds like it's likely Clemson in 2027, given prior scheduling commitments by the Tigers.

@Kelly_Quinlan Yep. No way SEC or Big10 teams want to fill their schedules with ND. They want to fill their slate with Charlottes and Georgia States of the world.

It is a dangerous game for ND to poke at the ACC. They are pretty screwed if that scheduling relationship goes away. They can't make the playoffs by playing UConn and whoever else will schedule them, with every P4 league going to 9-game schedules by 2027.

With all this coaching turninver surely @CoachCollins is getting looks. He's looking to bring an elite, high level defense to a school near you.

We need to get rid of the G5 auto bid in the College Football Playoff. The fact that a team like the University of North Texas is going to get into the playoff while teams like Vanderbilt and Texas may not is a HUGE negative for the sport.

@ACCBarstool At a minimum have ND games count as conference games. We have coaches minimizing the importance of the game because it doesn't count towards conference record.

Not forcing ND football to join the ACC was Jim Phillips biggest mistake. End our scheduling agreement with ND and let them fend for themselves and they’ll see how fun it is to be actually independent
