I can't believe that Nvidia looked at this "AI on top of games filter" and said to themselves this is the future of gaming. Like it or not, this is where Nvidia is heading and they're calling it neural rendering with DLSS 5. The examples they've showed reminded me a lot of those AI generated filter videos on top of GTA V, except that now it is supposed to run in real-time. Honestly, I don't like this current look at all

Do we need to build a Photoshop-like image rotation feature in ComfyUI? Tried to recreate PS’s image rotation feature inside ComfyUI. The tech itself isn’t anything special — it uses Qwen multi-angle, runs 32 angle variations of the image, then throws them onto a simple Canvas. The result obviously can’t compete with PS. Theirs clearly uses some kind of 3D technique under the hood. On top of that, a single run on my local 5090 takes 320 seconds — which is nowhere near an acceptable turnaround time. Just playing around with it for now. We’ll see if we can improve it later by switching to a 3D-based approach.

The worst thing about being an open source developer today is dealing with AI code pull requests. Unnecessary changes, unrelated fixes, and a bunch of code that the submitter has no idea how it works, why it is there, or what it does. I have wasted countless hours on it.
