During my meeting with newly appointed @UNDP Administrator @alexanderdecroo I underscored the importance of continued use of UNDP instruments to address the consequences of Russian aggression, support Ukraine’s recovery, and strengthen our institutions. I thanked UNDP for its practical assistance in restoring civilian and critical infrastructure, humanitarian demining, good governance, and energy recovery. We agreed to further expand UNDP activities in Ukraine, including through enhanced donor engagement, to effectively address Ukraine’s priority needs in reconstruction, mine action, and energy restoration.
