💕 10 days of baby snuggles.
Almost 10 lbs at birth.
4 pushes.
Nuchal cord.
Not breathing.
Emergency.
NICU team working to resuscitate.
5 hours before I got to see her.
She never even made it to the postpartum suite.
You’d never know how close we came to losing this perfect bundle of joy by looking at her sweet chunky face now.
Eats like a champ. Sleeps like a dream.
…and she doesn’t even flinch with her rambunctious older siblings causing chaos around her.
What a gift.
Thank you, Jesus — she is perfect.

He had tried everything.
Pills.
Scans.
Specialists.
Nothing touched his migraines.
Seventeen years of pounding pain. So when he finally sits in his doctor’s office again, he looks exhausted… and desperate.
The doctor examined him and reviewed his history.
Finally, the doctor said, “Listen, I get migraines too. This isn’t something I learned in medical school, but it works for me. When I feel one coming on, I go home and soak in a hot bath for a while. Then my wife helps rinse me off with the hottest water I can stand — especially around my head. That helps a little. Then I get out, go to the bedroom, and even if my head is pounding, I have sex with my wife. Almost every time, the headache disappears. Try it and come back to see me in six weeks.”
Six weeks later, the man returns — smiling ear to ear, “Doctor! It worked! I’ve had migraines for 17 years, and this is the first thing that’s ever helped me!”
The doctor smiled, “I’m glad I could help.”
The man paused, then added, “By the way, Doc…you have a really nice house.”
