@SithHaters It’s the truth though. Whether we like it or not, XFAs are fake money. We are rewarded by being able to withdraw from XFAs. But I personally love the way props are moving because it keeps the industry alive. Screw all the people who want to rinse and bleed props dry.

Haven’t traded this week; personal live account funds should be ready tomorrow. Pops was in the hospital, getting married this week, and moving out. A lot of stuff going on at once. And Topstep rug pull lol—will get one more payout then use it to fund more in the personal live account.

This is False. We do NOT have intraday trailing ANYTHING... Daily Loss Limits have always been in Live Accounts. NO Change there. Daily Loss limit is a loss limit set on the account for the day.. if you are down on the day NEVER does it bust you out of a winning trade. Hard Stop.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS @Topstep new intraday trailing daily loss limit is a silent account killer. This isn’t risk management it’s profit punishment. You can be up +$3k, manage the trade properly, allow a normal pullback… and still get auto-closed and locked out because unrealized P&L is now treated like realized loss. That’s not protecting traders. That’s forcing perfect tops and bottoms something no real trader does. Volatility, scaling, runners, trade management all penalized. If your rules can wipe a trader out while they’re still green, the problem isn’t the trader. It’s the model.

I’m taking one more payout from Topstep and moving to a personal live account, something I should’ve done long ago. All these restrictions, the hedging email when requesting payouts, outages, and other issues are too much. Trading is stressful enough already.

Not all of it is bad, but locking up profits that we grind so hard for is terrible for the trader @Topstep what happens if account is blown before you reach your next lock up milestone 🧐 do we lose our account even though we have reserves or are the reserves unlocked because our balance is now at zero @MichaelPatak @AskTopstep

@drjanandre What’s wrong with it? Less than 1% of all traders will ever see a live account. It’s still better than starting with $1k in a personal fund. Although I’m very pro personal fund.

@drjanandre Correlation does not equal causation. Firms change prices all the time. Every firm has different/similar rules for trading and payouts. The CME limited/increased margin on gold and silver. Topstep followed that. So did several other firms.
