Donanemab is not recommended by NICE for cognitive impairment or dementia caused by Alzheimer's.
This is due to limited benefits and high costs, including monthly infusions and intensive side effect monitoring, therefore it not good use for the taxpayer: nice.org.uk/news/articles/…

A reminder why @NHSPracHealth was first set up - after the heartbreaking tragedy of a doctor who so feared stigma from colleagues she felt unable to seek mental health support - & killed herself & her baby daughter.
Please don't defund this vital service, @NHSEngland 🙏
