Please, when my work becomes successful, I’d like everyone to remember that today, Feb 23rd, 2026, I was so exhausted and fighting so many uphill battles that I felt like giving up. I felt like it would be a great day for the world to end. I know it will pass but I just need this particular feeling / day on record.

I don’t know how it started, but I’ve stopped running with music. All my long distance runs are without music now. Yes, EVEN THE MARATHON. I ran an entire 42.2kilometer marathon without music. Personally, i think it’s unhinged behavior but it’s perfect for me.

When I saw her, I started moving more right and saying "to the left" and pointing for her to move left as there was a railing to the side of me. She ignored and just ran straight into me. And kept going. So weird.

The craziest thing happened on my run today. A woman literally ran into me. For some context, running etiquette in the US is that you run on your right and the person coming in the other direction runs to the left of you, just like driving or walking.
