A 40-year-old Danish national has been detained in a sensitive border zone in Bikaner after allegedly entering a restricted area without permission.

Identified as Rene, a resident of Denmark
In India on a 1-year tourist visa (arrived ~7 months ago)
📍 Where it happened:
Khajuwala area, close to the Indo-Pak international border
Found in suspicious circumstances on Hospital Road
⚠️ What triggered action:
Locals spotted a foreign national in a restricted zone
Immediately alerted police due to high sensitivity of the area
Local police + Border Security Force launched a joint interrogation
Initially cooperative in English
Later stopped responding and reportedly broke down
