I ordered food late at night—nothing unusual. The delivery guy called and said he couldn’t find my house, so I went outside to guide him. Street was completely empty. No bike. No headlights. Nothing. I called him again… his phone was suddenly switched off. As I turned back toward my gate, I noticed it was slightly open. I clearly remember locking it. I walked in slowly, heart racing… and the food I ordered was already sitting on the table inside. I live alone.
