@Bobmcphail1872 Agree with all of that Andy. Dundee played out well and had good patterns of play and we had to work really hard to counter that. Though the captain Hamilton in the middle and the young CH Graham looked good. Fernandez and Djiga were really solid and Meghoma did great.

I'm gonnae give what might sound like an alternative take on the game today, I thought for 89 mins Dundee were very good, their set up asked questions of us and they were very decent on the ball, and whilst we weren't stellar in our play, we repelled everything out of our final third and allowed no big chances against us. That was all about disciplined shape, hard work and desire and doing enough to get over the line - eventually with comfort. I thought our back four were excellent and I'll also say a special word for Meghoma - he's been great and consistent for weeks now and his recovery pace is such an asset.

Our friend and fellow FAB member Gary Ralston is facing a health challenge which, typically, he’s battling head on. Gary was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and, despite undergoing surgery, the cancer is now considered advanced, which requires a cocktail of hormone treatments and intensive radiotherapy, which will begin shortly at the Beatson. Despite this, he has committed to raising money for The Eilidh Brown Appeal, a charity that supports children with cancer across Scotland with respite care. Gary will compete in the Hyrox at the SECC in March and has set up a justgiving page to raise funds in memory of Eilidh. All support and social media shares from our Rangers family would be enormously appreciated. You can donate and share, with further details here: justgiving.com/page/gary-rals… From the bottom of his heart, thanks from Gary - and all your FAB team. You got this Gaz 💙💙

@adamski152 @johnwalker_1986 Really enjoyed the article- thanks. One of the things I see of most good teams down south is they often very quickly get the ball to their wide men who attack 1 on 1 whilst flooding players into the box- we’ve never done this consistently for years - and never create chances

Got about 2000 words into an article on Youssef Chermiti but just ended up annoying myself the more I wrote, so have this instead. Not attempting to make sense of the situation as that seems fairly pointless, but jotted some thoughts down regardless. Link in tweet below.

I asked the manager for a Squad and injury update, especially regarding longer term injuries Positive news Dujon Sterling, John Souttar and Leon Balogun all trained this morning. Will wait for any reaction with doctors but today is a big positive.

This morning in PSE, EVIP beauty @Glasgow_Clyde followed the latest Instagram trend & wrote about meeting their younger selves. We had a wonderful morning bravely sharing stories before putting thoughts & feelings down on paper. Some powerful words @GvsGlasgow @School_Liaison

@TEnglishSport Tom - I thought your comments tonight on 5live about Barry Ferguson (implying he’s thick) were mean, unfair and a tired middle class cliche - expect more balance.

@Bobmcphail1872 I’m assuming he’s on very high wages - so I do think with good recruitment we should be planning for our next no 1. His mistakes are now common in big games - and his decision making is poor. IMO I don’t think he’s ever looked good at moving his feet quickly for shots.

@Bobmcphail1872 Agree Unorganised, unfit, no changes to patterns of play, no pace or urgency, no bodies in the box when they should be. Fuk knows what’s going on at training

Utterly dreadful. To be honest with this squad, changing the manager will probably have a negligible effect in the short term, but the away form is a now a body of evidence that proves a total failure of footballing strategy compounded by an inability to address and correct - and that's why he needs to go.

If Souttar is out then I'd consider playing Sterling at CH, Propper isn't what we need today.

The immortal Dr Robert with his band the Blow Monkeys. Criminally under-appreciated in the 80’s (by me) so caught them at Stereo tonight in Glasgow and they were really excellent - great old stuff, great new stuff and superb musicianship.

Douglas Fraser becomes the latest BBC Scotland reporter to push the myth that high-earners are leaving Scotland because they pay a bit more income tax. There is, and never has been, any evidence to back this claim up. It's politically motivated claptrap.

Never thought I’d ever see Glasgow’s favourite son, Paul Buchanan, take to the Celtic Connections stage in the Royal Concert Hall, to sing 4 of his finest songs from his solo and Blue Nile career, with sublime Scottish Chamber Orchestra backing. Waited almost 40 years for that.
