So let’s get this straight…. Colorado democrats will say their concerned with affordability but then turn around and:
Increase your health insurance premiums (via taxing the insurance companies who pass that on to us)
Keep your TABOR refunds in the name of education (SB26-135 and only 15% is earmarked for education)
The one party majority rule in this state needs to end.

I am introducing a Constitutional Amendment to end Birthright Citizenship.
Under current interpretations of American law, anyone born on American soil automatically becomes a U.S. citizen, regardless of whether the parent was here legally or not. This is wrong and not at all the intent of those who wrote the 14th Amendment.
We are a country filled with immigrants, and legal immigration is valuable and should be protected. But we are also a country whose borders have been too open and our generosity exploited too often. President Trump has moved to seal our border from illegal immigrants more than any other president.
But we will have more to do.
We need to make sure that only children born to legal residents of the U.S. are automatically citizens. I have supported protecting birthright citizenship from abuse since the beginning of my tenure in the Senate, when I cosponsored the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, and now I am proposing an amendment to protect United States citizenship in case the Supreme Court fails to address this issue correctly.

🚨Heavy Handed removal of retiree benefits: A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint. The retired naval officer has a Concealed Carry Permit. He also followed all directions provided to him by base security while voluntarily discussing his CC permit and noting that he had mistakenly had the weapon in his vehicle. Security suggested he turn around and come back without the weapon. He did so gladly and immediately returned back through the same gate (without the weapon of course) while the same security guards offered apologies for the inconvenience. The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake. The JAGs and Commander at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek have unilaterally removed all retiree benefits (except retiree pay) from an honorable man. He can no longer attend base functions, work a job on the base, use MWR facilities, or the commissary (military grocery store). Based on Secretary @PeteHegseth’s desire to ensure Second Amendment rights are defended by our Institutions, and that those exercising these rights are not unlawfully weaponized against, I pray this ban is quickly reversed.

Just a reminder that the Colorado 6.5% excise tax on firearms, firearm parts, ammo, etc. is 100% unconstitutional.

I know people are sick of this, but I keep going back to the stupidity of leaving the JCPOA. Iran wouldn’t have a highly enriched uranium stockpile right now if we stayed in the deal. The IAEA would have access to everything Iran was doing. And this war would be avoided.

Removing TPS status for Haitians living in the United States would cost 350,000 workers their ability to work at a time when we’re already facing serious workforce shortages. I’ve heard from healthcare providers and business leaders across Nebraska, including @OmahaChamber, who are concerned about the impact this would have on patient care and our economy. I don’t see the goodness of deporting people who are here legally, working, and contributing to our country.
