To the progressive democrats in Colorado; especially those in the state legislature: Here is a cautionary tale. #copolitics #coleg Colorado is now bleeding people. It's not hypothetical and it's not a GOP talking point. Actual net out-migration. And it’s accelerating. I am sure many progressives here know those leaving are mostly conservative and are perfectly fine with that. But that belief misses the bigger picture, and it’s going to come back to bite you.

My amendment to SB26-004 ensures abusers can’t flip the script and use the law to take away a victim’s ability to protect their family. Colorado has tens of thousands of victims every year. They deserve protection—not more vulnerability. Carve them out. Protect them. Period.
