FA DT and FA SAF fixes need to draft high at those positions. OT,WR,ED,CB,RB those are the real needs with OT,WR,ED in that order due to draft depth. Lots of ED at 40, CBs 74/109, playoff level WR/OT are rd 1 only.

The notion of SPEED (since Hill) has ruined KC (Hardman,Toney,Brown,Worthy) with miss-after-miss while other teams grab the JSNs,Pickens,T Higgins,Conkeys, St Browns. "Small & Fast" is the KC mantra but it equals "weak physically and scheme dependent" - losers. Now OLD???

J Moore is below average RT (according to PFF), PM won't be able to handle 30 sacks on a healing knee but if you really don't want a 1st rd RT remember what it was like pre-PM then go get that "war daddy" ED and hope he takes you to SBs.

Somehow, in a very short time, we got from “PROTECT MAHOMMES AT ALL COSTS!!!” to “We can’t be wasting draft capital to get a quality right tackle.” I yearn for something sexy at 9 but not going to cry if it’s an OT. Mahomes loses Super Bowls only when he doesn’t have protection.

PFF’s 2025 take was basically: below average, especially in pass protection. He logged 427 offensive snaps, earned a 63.1 overall PFF grade that ranked 56th of 89 qualified OT, and posted a 57.1 pass-blocking grade, which ranked 72nd of 89. So sorry for PM!!!

Moore has been a historic bust, and KC traded him away. McBride has turned into the best tight end in the league at 26 years old: 2x Pro Bowler and 1st Team All-Pro. Travis Kelce would have mentored McBride, giving Kansas City one of the best TE duos of all time. Patrick Mahomes and McBride for the next decade would’ve been special…
