If the Book of Mormon were really fraudulent and made up, 196 years later it wouldn’t still be: – Being translated into new languages because of worldwide demand – Converting skeptics and nonbelievers to Christ and His Gospel – Providing peace and comfort to those in need of more Jesus in their lives. Almost 200 years in, and it’s still wrecking people for good. All because it testifies of Christ!

I’ve read the CES Letter, watched the ex‑Mormon TikToks, seen the YouTube ‘tell‑alls.’ Yet I stayed. Not because I’m ignorant, but because I’ve also read the Book of Mormon, kept the commandments & my Temple covenants and watched God actually change me & my family for the best

Mormon Women for Ethical Government (@mormonweg) is quite upset that I dedicated a presentation to them to a Utahn Republican Women's group. They called it "absolutely false." I don't know what they are alleging is false, like Bill Kristol is among their biggest donors (as @labtechleigh found), or that their co-executive director Jen Thomas represents MWEG in a meeting series as part of a fractal ecosystem to transform America's governance. But in the spirit of last year's thread on @CODEPINK , I will do a 100% factual, zero opinion, receipt-based thread on MWEG to clear the air. As MWEG said - "be kind, but be direct." 💕💕💕💕

Sometimes the clearest testimony of Jesus Christ is simply letting the Book of Mormon speak for itself.
Here are a few verses that never stop pointing me back to Him.
2 Nephi 25:26
And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
Mosiah 3:17
And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent.
Alma 7:11–13
And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy.
Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people.

From beginning to end, this book testifies of a living Savior. Not as an idea. Not as a symbol. As Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the world.

A family with seven kids basically walked into the baptismal font on my mission. Here's the story👇
Russia has very strict rules on what is allowed as far as sharing your religious views with others. Because of this, volunteers of the church spend 18 months to two years doing service, aiding church members, and teaching those who show interest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Preach My Gospel in Chapter 9 teaches about how to find people to teach: "[h]ave patient confidence that He will lead you to them, or them to you."
Because volunteers weren't really able to be led to others as easily, we had to get creative. One of the ways we got creative was that we would set time aside in our day to go sit in the church building and study, praying that people would simply walk in and be led to us.
You wouldn't believe how often it happened! I still remember getting the call from the missionaries in a branch with less than 5 active members telling me that they had a family of 9 on baptismal date!
A mother walked into the church and asked to speak with volunteers of the church. Turns out, her husband had met a Latter-day Saint missionary 20 plus years before in another location, and had a prompting that it was time for their family to join the church.
I was blessed to be in attendance at the baptism, where, in a Russian sauna, a large family entered into a covenant to follow Jesus Christ. I'll never forget the strong Spirit of the Lord that was present there.
If you ever feel like you are limited in some way, just know the Lord can lead people and blessings to you! It's not always us being led to others or other things.
I bear testimony that God loves all of His children and he wants us all to become like Him. Jesus Christ is the way to do that! Follow Him!

Awesome day watching my youngest pass the sacrament for the first time. When asked how it went, he said “that was terrifying”.
Both my boys were put into their respective quorum presidencies today. Also awesome.
Spiritual notes. This quote resonated with me in sacrament meeting:
