GM crypto world! My name is Max, and I created this account to track my growth from $10K to $100K in crypto and to see if it’s possible to do that using just airdrops, general opportunities and occasional trading.

Day 139 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Feels good to be right about $BTC for the first time in a while. I cut my shorts early, took a very tiny loss, and now $BTC has made new monthly (and bi-monthly) highs. I was also correct about the 63-69K accumulation range holding well and breaking out. I started a DCA position there, and old at $75K, and I am now looking for a new DCA position on a clean break of $80K to target $100K. Even though this is a $10K to $100K challenge, I will be DCAing with $60K of my own personal funds separate from challenge funds, and I will buy into a break. The PnL should be decent for the challenge account as well, since I will be using all of that also. I've been waiting for this since mid last month, and it's finally coming to pass. I'm very happy with my read so far. Now we wait. Total AUM: 11,285 USDC (+12.85%) Challenge Progress (incl. withdrawn): [█□□□□□□□□□] 1.150% ↳ +800 USDC realized & withdrawn Current positioning: Jupiter Lending: 4,223 USDC (37.42%), Extended XVS Vault: 3,000 USDC (26.58%), Extended: 1,000 USDC (8.86%), Variational: 1,200 USDC (10.63%), Spot USDC: 1,012 USDC (8.97%), 01 Exchange: 200 USDC (1.77%), Withdrawn (Bank): 800 USDC (7.09%)

Day 138 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge I kind of neglected my page for two weeks while I worked to test a few strategies and get comfortable with trading. Safe to say that did not do wonders for my views. My views are now down to between 400 and 800 per day, while previously crossing nearly 7K a day on average before. Follower count is dead also, and so is engagement. I think I can fix this, but even if I can't, I promised myself at the beginning of the year that > I will make $100K > I will post EVERY day of this year, regardless of the audience presence And so far, I am working towards both. I will get back to posting often everyday now, and see if I can plug the hole before my page goes extinct completely. If you're seeing this post btw, thank you for sticking around. In more serious news, I'm happy I got out of the short yesterday. The old me would 100% have held on to that short for longer than I had to. I saw my invalidation and ran. Good progress. I am now looking for either a break of $80K or a sweep below $72K for me to start building a spot position to sell at between $90K and ATH. No in-between. Let's see how that goes. Total AUM: 11,285 USDC (+12.85%) Challenge Progress (incl. withdrawn): [█□□□□□□□□□] 1.150% ↳ +800 USDC realized & withdrawn Current positioning: Jupiter Lending: 4,223 USDC (37.42%), Extended XVS Vault: 3,000 USDC (26.58%), Extended: 1,000 USDC (8.86%), Variational: 1,200 USDC (10.63%), Spot USDC: 1,012 USDC (8.97%), 01 Exchange: 200 USDC (1.77%), Withdrawn (Bank): 800 USDC (7.09%)

Day 137 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Ran out of my shorts for a small $25 loss. I've made significantly more so far, so this is not a real setback, but it's a warning, and one I won't take lightly. I got liquidated a while back shorting what felt like the top but was actually the honest-to-God, stone-cold bottom, and I won't be making that mistake again. I'm now watching and monitoring for a chance to restart my DCA around a clean break of $80K, which it seems may be soon. As always, with any automated tools, it's important to note a few things: > this is not a one size fits all method. I re-read my post from yesterday and felt it looked a little too 'promotional', so it's very important that I clear this up. You CAN lose a lot of money using this tool if you use it wrongly. > this is not full automation. You will need to reset it quite often, especially if the market moves a lot to one side. > it's not possible to turn a positive PnL. The best you can do, in my experience, is neutral (0 profit, 0 loss). Positive PnL occurs, but is usually neutralised by the negative PnL that occurs regularly as well. I also believe a lot of people will have the feeling that this method will be filtered out. It's safe to say that it uses 01 official APIs, therefore there's a low chance it gets filtered. I just thought I'd make this post to clarify a few things I wasn't able to in the initial post. Would you be using this tool? Let's discuss!

The cheapest automated way to farm 01 Exchange 01 automation tools are pretty scarce and quite expensive, especially in my experience. And now that points are super scarce, and you can't be everywhere at once, it makes sense to automate a portion of your farming activities away to a tool. But that tool needs to be cheap, efficient and generate points. I've (publicly) tried a bunch of tools (you can scroll my page to find out the ones I've tested) and services for 01, and I have found the best balance of cost, execution safety and points return. The tool is @cedehub, and in this guide, I will show you how to set it up to maximise the points you get for the cost. In my experience, I last got 31 points for $0.3 total cost with the app using the settings I will be sharing here. Here's a simple guide so you can also get started with 01 + Cedehub: > Sign up here: cedeflow.io/?code=GJXEV7VV. This will give you a builder fee rebate which makes the overall process even cheaper. > Navigate to the 'bots' section > Select 'Launch bot' > Now click on 'Market Making', and select 01 as the exchange > Perform the setup to link your 01 account with the bot > Now you have two options. You can either select a major pair like BTC, ETH or SOL, or a more 'minor' volume pair like HYPE. Here are my preferred settings for both to minimise losses due to volatility: Major volume pair: Use a little capital and high leverage. Set a reasonable max loss and select Flow Guard. This will slowly build your volume over time while preserving your capital. Minor volume pair: Use more capital and less leverage. Once again, set a reasonable max loss and instead select Depth Pulse this time to quickly get volume out while maintaining positive or neutral PnL. Some additional tips: > Don't use this bot during US hours, as usual. Volatility is much higher then. Unless you're fine with losing capital due to volatility. > Try to actually make some small DN trades through 01 itself to ensure all your bases are covered. Don't just focus solely on the bot. Happy farming!

Day 136 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge I (foolishly, but actually wisely) jumped the gun yesterday and shorted at the time of making my tweet with $1000 margin. I'm up quite a bit now. With that, this previous week is also closing in SFP fashion, which sets up that big short I spoke about. I will look to add to this short anywhere from $76K to $77K, and I'll look to exit around some fresh weekly lows. My invalidation will obviously be a clean break above this last week high with decent volume, but I honestly don't think we get that. I closed all my DEX DN positions this week to being testing a shiny new strategy next week. I think it will be successful. Let's see. Day 135 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge The $BTC 'big short' I was talking about is almost ready. If we close this week as an SFP of the highs, I will personally take the short with about $5000 of challenge funds. My reasoning is simple: there's still uncertainty about the war, and $BTC pumping off the range is suspicious with this uncertainty. I will look to capitalise on that. In other news, I will get back to my regularly scheduled helpful content on Monday. I have something really useful in store, and I can't wait to start sharing again. I'm also still farming my perps as usual. Nothing special, although I may have strategy updates soon. Day 134 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge $BTC is ripping for whatever reason. It seems the accumulation range between $63K and $72K actually held, and the accumulation phase is done. So I may have to DCA accumulate after a confirmed break of $80K. It seems that the downside may be done for now, so I am betting on some form of continuation. I do think there is room for a big short type of trade if this turns out to be a failed range breakout, but we will have to wait for that to play out first before we can make any concrete decisions. As for the other DEXs I am farming, it's still the same: Extended, Variational, 01, TradeXYZ, MarketsXYZ and DreamCash. Nothing fancy, just DCA and funding farms. Nothing exciting in my updates for the past three months or so. It sucks, I know. But I don't want to force something to happen. Hopefully we get some exciting news soon. Day 133 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Turns out I was right to sell my small spot $BTC for a 14% gain. Not a bad move at all, and I'm proud of it. I am waiting for a confirmed break of $80K to start another round of DCA, or for a break down to $67K to start another DCA again. For now I'm not doing anything. I started testing a new strategy for funding farming, and I will document that from next week when I have enough data points. In addition, I am still farming 01, Variational, Extended, Kinetiq and some other perps here and there, although I'm not really getting exceptional results. The grind continues. Day 131 & 132 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Amazing read on $BTC from me. We actually did make a new local high, and I've sold all the spot I bought for a nice profit. I planned to DCA in a while ago but never got to it on account of being depressed from losing all my trading profit in one day. I think based on my original plan of buying $300 a day, I would have averaged somewhere around $5000 or so at an average of $66-$67K. Instead I got only $600 in. Depressing, but I don't think this is the true 'bottom'. I think I'll be able to buy lower in a few days, but for now I have sold the spot I bought for a small profit. If we do get above $75K in a durable fashion, I will start DCAing in again towards $90K, but for now I have eyes on $67K to properly get in again. Just a waiting game now. I am, of course, still farming Variational, Extended and 01. They're just very underwhelming at the moment to provide daily updates. Day 130 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge I'm up on the first tranche of my $BTC DCA buys. I started buying on Saturday, but I couldn't post because I was tired asf, so I bundled the two posts for Saturday and Sunday together. I bought with only $600 though, and I didn't expect it to go up this fast. I was planning to DCA for quite a while, so I think when this over-extends, I will sell and buy back lower (sounds like the plot of everyone who ever got left behind while DCAing, I know) It's just a massive coincidence that it went up a day after I announced my buys, so I want better entries. I will wait for a large enough hyperextension and then sell. As for my other farms, I'm still just DN across Extended and Variational and I'm bot farming for 01. Nothing much to update there. Mediocre points for Extended and Variational, but they're free, so I'm not complaining. 01 is faring much better than the other two, but the valuation is lower, because it's still early stage and hasn't picked up steam yet. My large bet is now, funny enough, my DCA position. Hopefully I don't get left behind. Total AUM: 11,285 USDC (+12.85%) Challenge Progress (incl. withdrawn): [█□□□□□□□□□] 1.150% ↳ +800 USDC realized & withdrawn Current positioning: Jupiter Lending: 4,223 USDC (37.42%), Extended XVS Vault: 3,000 USDC (26.58%), Extended: 1,000 USDC (8.86%), Variational: 1,200 USDC (10.63%), Spot USDC: 1,012 USDC (8.97%), 01 Exchange: 200 USDC (1.77%), Withdrawn (Bank): 800 USDC (7.09%)

Extended Points Update +626.6 points Amazing week on Extended. I’m sticking to my strategy and earning all these points at zero cost. I don’t care if points end up valued at $0.5, $1, or $5, when the time comes, it’s all extra profit. The team keeps building fast, shipping features, and actually listening to feedback. Beyond delta-neutral, I also have ~$10–15k (depending on the day) deposited in the Extended Vault. ▶️ ~7–10% base APR ▶️ Extra points ▶️ I can use up to 90% of that capital as margin, boosting my delta-neutral returns even further. If you want to join Extended, or just boost your account: 👉 +10% points 👉 +10% fee discount Use my code (Extended Affiliate): TOMCRYPTODEFI app.extended.exchange/join/TOMCRYPTO…

Day 128 & 129 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge I wasn't able to post at all yesterday because I was super busy all day and I got tired and slept once I got back. Needless to say I didn't make or lose any money yesterday, same with today. Capital preservation is important, and I will try not to trade on weekends moving forward. The market is shaping up quite nicely. I think $BTC makes new (local) highs next week. It's been super resilient in forming this bottom even on bad news so far. War news didn't break it below $63K (that was the bet that got me liquidated), so I have decided to begin my $60K DCA here. Starting today, I will buy $300 worth of $BTC everyday until we cross $80K, which is when I will stop. I think this is a rather durable point to start doing that. My aim is to sell above $100K, hopefully for a 2x. The $60K is all I have in this world, home and away, so it's a bit risky to dump it all into $BTC overtime. But if my bet on this being the eventual bottom plays out, I will be highly rewarded. I think it's worth the risk. Day 127 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge It was an amazing day today. I ended the day with +$204, and I took zero losses. Volatility was nice, and it was overall a good day. These figures are quite good for someone that is learning, but I realise that I need to operate at a much larger scale before I can actually complete this challenge. Going with this trading route, minus any airdrops, will get me closer to the goal, definitely, but I need to find an edge at something else to fully harness this challenge and bring it home massively. I need to find an edge somewhere. Day 126 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Very interesting volatility filled day. I ended the day with +$113, although I could have easily walked away with $300. We started the day with a (very expected) down move, which I caught for +320 profit in total, but then the sudden pop up later the day to $72300 bled a bunch of that profit away for me. I have a bunch of issues to work on of I am to make a consistent profit from trading, and one of them is identifying and reacting to trend changes. For instance, I should have been able to take more data points into account to realise that shorting all day would have been a bad idea. I will work on (and document) these issues in the coming days. I am happy though with the result of the day, and I hope I can stay consistent with the profits. Day 125 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge There was a ton of volatility today, but I was AFK pretty much all day, so I couldn't make any trades or posts. I think I can say I sort of saw the short term resolution coming, but I couldn't capitalise. We all know how erratic the US president can sometimes be, but it's all for show at the end of the day. Really wish I could have capitalised on the mayhem. I need to lock in really, or else this challenge may not get completed. It's all in my hands now, but missing days like these is how you leave money on the table. Hopefully never again. Day 124 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Lots of volatility today, but I ended the day with -$19. I didn't even overtrade today, I just followed the rules and still lost money. Guess it's one of those days. I'm still positive overall on the week, but the constant flip flopping from Trump should have been a telltale sign for me to stay away from markets this week. Aside from this, I also started using Tom's strategy, and it's going ok so far. I also saw the first results from my 01 automation tool, and it's looking ok so far. I'd prefer to funding farm 01 though to keep costs as close to zero as possible. Not too much to update today as usual, so I guess we will see tomorrow. Day 123 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge Lots of volatility today, and I capitalised on that to the best of my ability. I made $105 today, but that was after nearly $87 in losses after I should have stopped trading. My actual issue now is discipline. I should have stopped trading when I was up nearly $200 in one day on a $2K account, but I wanted to chase magic numbers again, and that got me burnt. So technically, I count today as a -$87 day instead of a +$105 day, because I still haven't learnt my lesson. It was this same overtrading that got me liquidated on the first day of March when the war started. I also closed all my DN positions because I want to start using Tom's method and checklist to do my DN. I wrote about that today. My 01 bot burnt through $12, and I turned it off. Let's see how my points fare this week. Didn't do much else apart from all this. But volatility is back, and I'm happy. The entirety of last week, I tested a new automated trading strategy on @01Exchange using a shiny new tool I found. I won't reveal the tool in this post, but I will list the current stats of the account I tested the strategy on, the volume, the amount lost and the amount spent on fees (both 01 and the tool itself). Then later today, I will update this post and I will reveal the tool and the settings used, as well as all I learnt. For now though, here are the current stats of the account: > Rank: 3749 weekly rank > Points: 435.66 points > Fees paid (01 + tool): $4.63 > Total volume: $22.47K > Total losses (fees included): $7.62 > Total points: 31.34 The cost per point is higher than doing a manual DN strat like the one I posted about yesterday, but if you don't have time to watch your positions carefully, this is still a reasonably priced method of farming 01.

Day 122 of the $10K to $100K in one year challenge I didn't trade today as a rule of thumb, because of the weekend + holiday + stock market being closed. There was a bit of volatility a few hours ago, but definitely not worth missing the holiday over. I also closed all my DN positions today for like $4 profit (very insignificant) in preparation for Tuesday. The only thing I had running for the entirety of today was my 01 bot. I made about $3K in volume and it MADE me $0.30 after fees. Very nice. Not much to update today. Praying for some volatility tomorrow. Some simple strategies to 'max farm' points on some popular DEXs with little cost > @extendedapp - DN with another DEX (like Variational, hold for max 2 funding periods (~8 hours), close with limit orders, repeat for max points with your capital) > @variational_io - DN with another DEX (like Extended, hold for max 3 funding periods (~1 day), close with limit orders (market order spreads can be painful), repeat for max points. NEVER hold past 24 hours) > @01Exchange - DN with a zero-fee perp DEX (like Variational), or simply use a tool like @Nun0bot or @cedehub (I prefer Cedehub because it tries to keep your PnL positive while Nun0 just torches through it) The perp-DEX meta isn't dead, burning money for points is. Don't get it twisted.

Crypto + Macro Stuff I'm Looking At Today ... - Oil at $114 as Iran situation continues - $BTC at $69.8k - Chaos Labs is leaving Aave, citing "a fundamental misalignment on how risk should be managed..." - Citrini analyst makes gonzo journalism great again (massive respect 🫡) - Polymarket is launching its own stablecoin, as well as some other upgrades - Circle is creating its own form of wrapped-Bitcoin - Schwab to start offering crypto spot trading (I actually use Schwab, as well as several other brokerages, usually IB for the geekier tradfi stuff though) - Anchorage Digital hits $1B in stablecoins issued - Very interesting stat that 8 of the top 10 perps dex’s saw declining volume over the last month... with the only exceptions being TradeXYZ and Grvt... h/t @ top7ico - Stablecoin market cap at ATH's despite a broader market problems - CPI (inflation) data coming out on Friday - Polymarket showing a 40% probability that OpenAI will IPO by the end of the year - Circle getting criticism for not freezing funds faster after Drift exploit - Ethena expanding into non-crypto basis trade and doing some other stuff (more info below) - Boros generating attention with a bunch of new upgrades - US gerontocracy arc continues, as Americans over age 65 are receiving 6x as much government support than Americans under age 26, h/t WaPo - Concerns about a private credit crisis continue in macro land - Across $ACX proposal to swap tokens for equity ends tomorrow - Leap Wallet sunsetting - Hyperliquid predictions market upgrade apparently coming in next week or two - Polymarket fee/revenue generation is now being tracked on DefiLlama and they are solidly in the top 10 most days Conclusion That is everything ya'll! Busy times! :) Please RT if you found valuable! 🫡🙏
