I feel conflicted with this one.
Lower income households still watch linear television. Parents also trust linear television providing decent kids stuff.
But younger viewers are clearly not watching linear tv any more - ask any kid about their habits.

CITV is coming to an end, for good. After the channel closed in 2023, there’s been a CITV block on ITV2 every day, but this ends on 10th April. The new home for children’s content will be on ITVX Kids.

How kids watch stuff now is insane to me. I was at a family thing the other day, yapping away with the kids, asked what their favourite TV show is & they all just said YouTube. Not even a person on it. Imagine asking a 7 year old Shutts his favourite show & he just goes “BBC Two”

American Idol introduced a new live-voting method yesterday, then subsequently had to cancel the elimination after receiving too many votes. Fans can now vote for their favourite acts via social media comments, but producers were unable to count all comments across all social media platforms in time, and had to postpone the result until next Monday. They received almost a million comments on Instagram alone.
