Today was not just a ceremony. It was India’s bold declaration of quantum leadership from Andhra Pradesh, bringing industry, academia, and government onto one common platform. Thirty companies under the #AmaravatiQuantumValley will soon begin operations from Medha Towers. In addition, MoUs have been signed with 15 more companies spanning quantum computing, algorithms and hardware development, quantum security and cryptography, quantum sensing, quantum biofoundry, and strategic investments. Four landmark initiatives were also announced by leaders from industry and academia: TCS Quantum Cloud Services, the Quantum Talent Hub, the Quantum Reference Facility (India’s first and the world’s fourth), and Quantum-Safe Application Q-AWARE 2.0. He suggested that the Quantum Computing Center should operate in various fields, including education, medicine, and drug design. Today, a team of researchers, scholars, and enthusiastic industrial experts from various countries met at the secretariat. The team informed that it is ready to establish a Global Quantum Bio Foundry for research on novel drug design in the medical field along with material science. It explained that it is being set up as the country's first Quantum Biomedical Research Ecosystem. The CM conveyed congratulations to the members of the Global Quantum Bio Foundry team." (Roughly translated from Telugu to English)
