@lichess Hello! I have a small request, when we download the games is it possible to get those with timings i.e. time taken by players for each move. that feature would be just amazing. Thanks for all the good work you guys do that too for free ✌️✌️

A new concept I got from Gelfand’s book is that when you’re playing with a big space advantage, you have maximized your pieces, provoked as many weaknesses as possible… AND your opponent’s pieces are all in their first 3 ranks, you should look to exchange queens and rooks! (1/2)

We are so grateful & proud that our culture still has great teachers: acharyas like Shri RB Ramesh @Rameshchess Founder of Chess Gurukul & coach of @rpragchess Humbly presenting the 1st podcast in our Dronacharya Series on #TeachersDay So much to learn here for both parents & youth! The Dronacharya Series is our humble tribute to the great gurus of our tradition. As long as we have the gurus & acharyas to look up to, the great civilisation of #Bharat will thrive! For young (and not-so-young) parents, the greatest learning comes from the teachers who motivate and inspire children to excel. How does Shri Ramesh @Rameshchess train children to work hard & do their best, to deal with wins and losses, to face Grandmasters with intimidating reputations? Why is his training centre called Chess Gurukul? What can we learn from him? What is his message to parents and to #bharatiya youth of today? Please listen to this podcast and share! #TeacherDay2023 #TeacherDay #teachersdayspecial #TeacherAppreciation #chess #GM #chessworldcup #Praggnanandhaa #prag #coach #Chessboard #Guru #acharya #Acharya #dronacharya #drona #great #gurukul #Bharat #FIDEWorldCupFinal #Shatranj #traditionalBharatiyagame #boardgame

@funlearn123 @killer_chess I do think that certain business interests have put a lot of importance on remembering openings. I am not sure how important it is. For me it is not important at decaying 2450

@funlearn123 @killer_chess It is too complex a question for Twitter. It is highly individual and we don't know you, your openings or your routines. The main point to make is that you have to be able to play well past the openings and should focus generally on the part of the game where you struggle.
