This study uses individual judgments of their partners and acquaintances, without additional observers evaluating their looks.

I believe he's trying to paint women as being shallow and dishonest. I agree, I think it's more likely partner bias, and that many people don't have a lot to compare to.

Especially if you work in the mornings. Also, service shifts are often shorter than a typical 8 hours and workers are kept part time

Seems regressive. In Canada they make minimum and you can make decent money, and maybe not all of it deserved; it goes both ways.

If you're an attractive woman you can make a lot at busy spots especially in big cities, but lots of service workers don't make that much. A lot of them have to tip out a % of sales so if their clientele aren't big into tipping they make diddly squat

I was a manager at Marco’s and one of our drivers would flex on us with how much money she had 😭 plus I’d have to cash them out so I could always see how much they got tipped that day and they’d easily pull 200-300 a day
