I've been awake since 3.30am watching any and all footage from Carriacou as a way to check for signs of loved ones. The island is completely destroyed 💔 I thought I had cried everything I had left to cry. I was wrong.

My grandma's house is gone.

Mum made contact quickly with a neighbour in Carriacou. Grandma's roof is gone 💔😭. Last she heard yesterday, they were trying to move her to a house across the road.

It's stormy here in St Lucia but we are OK. Mostly we're worried bad about Carriacou. We've had word that a family friend lost her roof. Mum's house had lost at least one window and theres been other damage. Power is intimittent and we're waiting on an update from Grandma.
