i used to run two emulators (android and ios), vscode, plus chrome and other apps comfortably on an 8gb m1 while every dev swore on their lives that 32gb is the minimum they need to run vscode alone. i couldn’t even lie to boss @Kasendwa to upgrade for me. 😅

Crazy how people on here (mostly Americans) are saying an 8GB RAM laptop is only good for browsing the internet. Meanwhile Africans running entire businesses on 4GB laptops and doing intensive video work with 8GB laptops.
