Benar sekali. Harus sering-sering tanya ke teman yang kerja disana gajinya berapa bahkan sebelum daftar. Jgn hanya melihat kampusnya terkenal. Saat wawancara jangan malu untuk bertanya detail gaji pokok, tunjangan, uang SKS, penelitian & bonus lain jika ada.

Pernah diskusi dengan kawan. Jadi dosen itu rata-rata baru financially viable setelah tahun ketiga. Siapakah yang bisa bertahan dengan kondisi seperti itu? Yang cukup privilege dan tidak punya constrain ekonomi. Saya contohnya. Haruskah kita memaklumi kondisi ini? TENTU TIDAK.
