@iceman_fl Thank you! I’m trying to find time to put them all together on Substack so people don’t have to try to search for them all. I’ll let you know when I get to it.

Stop telling young ppl to “build wealth in their 20s” when they’re still trying to build a budget. Cars cost $42,000. Degrees cost $65,000. Rent swallows half of their paycheck. What exactly are they supposed to invest after paying for gas, groceries, and a shoebox apartment?

If I had a ridiculous amount of money, I’d be calling mortgage companies and paying off people’s homes. I’d be calling hospitals and clearing medical debt. I genuinely don’t understand the appeal of hoarding billions while so many people are struggling. What’s the point of having all that money if you’re not using it to make people’s lives better?

@TedRall You make this comment when his jacket is unbuttoned? You’re either intellectually dishonest or simply retarded, my guess is the latter.

BOOMER: “Nobody wants to work anymore.” ME: “The warehouse nearby pays $18/hour.” BOOMER: “That’s decent.” ME: “Average rent is $2,200.” BOOMER: “Get a roommate.” Funny how every solution asks workers to sacrifice more. Never employers to pay more.

Trump did that in the late 80’s with the Wollman Ice Rink in Central Park in New York. The rink had to be closed in the winter of 1980 and the renovation was estimated to cost up to $4.9 million and take two years. The rink was still not completed by May 1986 when the city reversed the decision to use Freon and decided on staying with brine in plastic pipes. By that time, $12.9 million had been spent, with an additional $2 to $3 million estimated to complete the work by the winter of 1987. Donald Trump then publicly offered to complete the renovations at his expense within six months, in return for leases to operate the rink and an adjacent restaurant in order to recoup his costs. Instead, Mayor Ed Koch agreed to reimburse Trump for any costs up to an agreed limit, and Trump agreed to donate the profits of rink and restaurant to charity and public works. The work was completed in four months, two months ahead of schedule, and $750,000 under the estimated costs.

@usmc_colonel Yes, that is true. The one thing Trump truly excels at is highlighting the failure of the federal government to do even its most basic tasks.

@mtgreenee You lie about all things, even when it comes to health insurance. Make congresses health insurance available to the public, with their insane subsidies. Make congresses OAP available to the public. Hypocrite.

I’m 52 and enjoying a weekend out on medical tourism for my health. It’s a damn shame that not only do Americans pay absurd amounts for health insurance and healthcare, we also don’t have access to incredible treatments at home. More to come on this.

You have a $2M net worth and you’re agonizing over whether to spend $24 to get extra legroom on your economy seats. Congrats, your success is useless and wasted on you. It’s not all for retirement.

Stop telling young people to “build wealth in their twenties” when they can barely build a sandwich. Cars cost fifty thousand. Degrees cost fifty eight thousand. Rent eats eighty percent of their check. What exactly are they supposed to invest after buying gas, food and a broom closet?

@TheRealJChubby Ronald Reagan was very open about his colon cancer. His dementia didn’t start until he left office. He was still traveling the world giving speeches after his term ended. He left office in January of 1989 and passed in June of 2004.

@jasonllevin I think the ballroom being built is ugly. It’s fine that it’s being built. What do you think of Columbus circling being cleaned up and restored?

Americans all over are calling for the courts to order Trump to rebuild the White House's East Wing just how it was before he destroyed it. Do YOU support this idea?
