Yday I tiptoed around the esophagus as I isolated the pulm veins using all my tricks - LPLF&HPSD Yday I heard our esophageal patent (which sucks the walls in and deviates) EASY AF trial was term early as it met its primary endpoint for 🔻eso injury. Yday was a landmark day!🥳

Friday afternoon add on, 55yo mother with MAD and NSVT 1 week post ICD presents with recurrent syncope. Freshly implanted ICD shows 3 episodes of FVT at 286bpm. MAD is real and real scary. #happymothersday #EPeeps

What is the burden of asymptomatic afib detected on pacemaker which you will start anticoagulation? I know @drjohnm says there is a lot of uncertainty but is there a generally accepted threshold? (5% or 24hr or number of episodes per month, etc…)

Kudos to David Chieng and colleagues at U of Melbourne for their poster Habitual coffee consumption and Incidence of Arrhythmias. I knew Coffee was good for me. Regular Coffee intake (2-3cups/d) significantly reduces the risk of arrhythmias. #EPeeps #HRS2022 #morecoffeeisgood
