Does your resource system turn into threats (Mutavault)? Enable splashes (fetches)? Do stupid shiii (bazaar)?

Nobody thinks Magic's non-games are "worse" than other games, nor are other games "tricking you" - Magic has, demonstrably, more of them. The game was designed in the 90s, its ok to admit they didnt do everything right. They do a great job making it feel less bad, but it's bad.

I think it would take a shockingly mature 19 year old or a shockingly immature 27 year old for this relationship to not be weird, but it's possible.
