You gotta love it when some just can't tip their cap to #Nats GM Mike Rizzo since he made a good trade in the Scherzer/Trea deal for Josiah Gray and Keibert Ruiz. Was it the best trade? Maybe that was the best offer that Riz received. That's the important distinction. He got 2 Top-50 prospects. By the way, the Dodgers didn't retain Max Scherzer or Trea Turner. Scherzer left after 2021 and Turner left after 2022. The Dodgers didn't make it to the World Series in either year.

@grantpaulsen Lane Thomas should be extended to long term deal. There is no guarantee that Hassell and Wood will develop to major leaguers. They are both still struggling. 2024 OF would be Thomas. Wood. Crews. IF reports are true Pirates taking Skenes at #1

@grantpaulsen Boras always takes his players to free agency for the highest $$$$. The chances of keeping Soto are minimal once he hits free agency. The longer Nats wait the less they get in return. You have to trade Soto this week!!! Even if Soto stays accepts 550 mill how are the Nats better
