Only Christ. He alone is the Way. He alone is the Truth. He alone is Life. All others are liars and thieves. I’m pro-Israel but not all Israel is Israel.

@jamiedoulos @5Solas2 Not sure how you take discussion as an attack. Especially in the context of Christianity, connotations occur with words. I read much of the reference you gave from Wiki, and that point seemed to predominate. Joel2:12 “…return to me with your whole heart,” Pax Christi.

If you confuse any of these, you're probably going to end up in some kind of heresy like Roman Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy.

@MJO118 @5Solas2 There. Agree and attack. Pfft….. A change of mind must lead to change of action. But go ahead and keep rejecting it.

@jamiedoulos @5Solas2 One things for sure—it involves a *change* of some sort; not merely “merely bewailing past sin” as the above author’s commentary on Acts2:38 makes clear.

@rabbriansamuel 7% of jews are Sephardic. They have more jewish blood than the ashkenim. They are not Zionist and reject your theology. Zionism is satanic, not of God, and teaches it's ok to murder people for land that does not belong to you.

Same land. Same people. Yes, Israel today is the Israel of the Bible. It doesn't matter that it was formed by secular people. Historically, Israel had righteous leaders and pagan ones. None of that stopped Israel from being Israel.

@JamesTo96594789 @jamiedoulos @5Solas2 What? That’s an argument from ignorance or speculation No it is a fact of history that Jewish Rabbis curtailed their canon , which scriptures they used (non LXX ) and what books in order to be “different” than Christianity

Using a book that isn't part of the Bible to try and prove a practice is biblical is exactly what I'd expect from a Roman Catholic.

Your position is logically incoherent. Islam did not come into existence because of Rome’s corruption, it arose in 7th century Arabia as a false religion that explicitly denies the divinity of Christ, the Trinity, and the crucifixion itself. That is a non sequitur you are blaming the Church for the rise of a religion that was founded in direct opposition to the Gospel. By that same broken logic, you could blame Christianity for every heresy and pagan cult that came after it. The truth is much simpler: fallen men reject Christ and invent lies, and Islam is one of them. So no, this is not a serious historical argument, it is just another desperate attempt to blame the Catholic Church for everything while ignoring the actual beliefs and choices of the people who created Islam.

So your position is that Islamic armies should have been allowed to conquer Christian lands, kill Christians, restrict their worship, and continue expanding without resistance. That is the false moral standard you are applying condemning Christians for defending themselves while giving a free pass to the aggression that made the conflict inevitable in the first place. By your logic, any people defending their homeland from invasion are automatically guilty simply because they fought back. That is not a serious moral argument. It is selective outrage

@RomaEvangelist There was no genocide. There was only casualties of war. Right or wrong. There was no genocide. And condemn the crusades already. Deflect and accuse. That’s all you Lics know.

Your demand assumes the Crusades were simply unprovoked Catholic aggression, which is historically false. That is the fallacy of historical oversimplification. The Crusades were called after nearly four centuries of Islamic expansion into historically Christian lands Syria, Egypt, North Africa, and most of the Byzantine world and after Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem were increasingly attacked. The First Crusade was specifically requested by the Byzantine emperor to defend Christian territory and restore access to holy sites. In other words, it was a defensive war, not random violence in the name of Christ. Were there abuses committed by individuals? Yes just like in every war in human history but those abuses do not define the cause itself. Ignoring the centuries of conquest and persecution that preceded the Crusades while condemning only the Christian response is selective history and a clear double standard. And if you are truly concerned about injustice and innocent blood, then be consistent and condemn the genocide being carried out by the modern state of Israel as well.

Like I said before, your position makes you functionally an apologist for those who deny Christ while you spend all your energy attacking the Church He established. That is the double standard and the false dichotomy in your argument pretending Catholics are somehow separate from Christians when the Catholic Church is the historical Church from which Protestantism broke away in the 16th century. You repeatedly defend those who reject Christ while spreading false accusations about His Church, and that posture is completely incompatible with the faith you claim to follow. Because of that, I will say it plainly you cannot in any way be called a Christian.
