Nigeria Sales Performance & Revenue Insights Dashboard I built a complete end-to-end data analytics project from a messy dataset to a full interactive dashboard. Here is everything I did 🧵👇

Whenever I see posts like this, I laugh and pass. However, I will say something on it today to throw some light and give a logical analysis considering the current economic situation of our country. How many youths working 9-5 in our major cities in Nigeria earn up to #500,000 per month? How many youths who are entrepreneurs have businesses that can generate #200,000 as ROI monthly in this balablu economy? How many Nigerians living in Nigeria who even own accounts have up to #500,000 in their accounts? With the hyperinflation we face currently, to what extent has the naira been devalued compared to 2025? Haven't most landlords/landladies increased rent in their houses having considered the economic realities of our present day Nigeria? You can't reasonably make this bold assertion when you objectively factor all the above issues of hyperinflation, unemployment/underemployment, low business support and sporadic increment of rent by landlords. You want a person whose rent has been increased from #450,000 to #800,000 by a landlord to use that as a reason to seek for a raise at his company that pays him #200,000 monthly?. Will that be enough reason to get a raise from most capitalist employers we are blessed with in the country? Do you even consider the stress of house hunting in cities like Lagos, Abuja,Portharcourt and Ibadan and how house Agents are becoming a menance to the real estate sector in the country?. Where are the job opportunities which guarantee a better pay in most of our cities and how sure is it that a person will get it considering the number of job seekers in the labour market in 2026? It is always very easy to type on X but are we being realistic with ourselves? With high inflation, the cost of living is effectively three to four times higher than official figures suggest. Many households in Nigeria currently require two to three income sources just to cover basic expenses like food, transport and rent, and a single formal job rarely suffices. In Lagos, a one-bedroom flat in a decent neighbourhood can cost ₦800,000 to ₦2 million monthly, whilst the same money could rent an entire house in many Northern anf South west cities. This geographic disparity shapes every aspect of how people experience daily life. Do you know the kind of work most Nigerians will do before they can save #2m rent? The economic situation has deteriorated markedly since 2023. Fuel subsidy removal in May 2023 triggered inflation that peaked above 30%, whilst the naira collapsed from ₦450 to over ₦1,750 per dollar. These twin shocks decimated purchasing power overnight. I spoke with Mr. Olaogun, a teacher in Osogbo. His salary of ₦95,000 bought his family a comfortable life in 2022. Today, that same ₦95,000 barely covers food. Rice that cost ₦25,000 per bag then now sells for ₦70,000. Transport that cost ₦200 now costs ₦800. His real income has fallen by more than 60%, yet his nominal salary hasn’t changed. Nigeria is relentlessly difficult. Every day brings choices between buying medicine or food, paying school fees or rent, risking bad roads or missing work. Yet even here, I’ve found remarkable resilience and community support that sustains people through hardship. Hence, your post can never be realistic or correct without duly and keenly consider the variables as analysed above. If you are saying this out of privilege, consider the 60-70% of Nigerians struggling day by day to afford the basics Rahma cares ✍️

If your 1-3 months salary can’t pay your rent, that means you’re living above your means, or you need a new job with a better pay.

@FootballLores @PoojaMedia Yes, you're right but the way he present the talk was terrible, He can do better next time. Ronaldo has been there before he was born or join the team.

I think this issue is being overreacted to. Personally I don't think Neves was diminishing Ronaldo. He was making a point about collective responsibility after a game where Portugal underperformed as a team. "He's no different from us, he's here to help like all of us" is the kind of thing players say all the time to deflect pressure off one individual and onto the group. What of if Neves was protecting Ronaldo from being scapegoated than disrespecting him. Have we looked at that angle too?

This is so CARELESS from Joao Neves. Even if the intentions are clear, media will eat this up & use it for agenda.

Students with a Third Class or Second Class Lower degree should be allowed to compete alongside First Class graduates at every level. Let competence, skills, experience, and performance speak for themselves. Not everyone starts from the same position, and academic results don’t always tell the full story
