yea know you can just dm me, thats gonna be somewhat long, thank god I have blue checkmark. Basically in the current Knesset (Elections to be held in October this year) parties are: Coalition: * Likud - Biggest party, no idiology (originally was right-wing), basicially the "Bibi party", add the Ultra-orthodox jewish parties and it leans hard to left wing. * Otzma Yehudit - Radical right wing, radical conservatives, opposes hard the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Zionut Datit - Right wing, conservatives, opposes hard the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Shas - Ultra-orthodox jewish party (Mizrahi), basicaly commies + radical conservatives, no opinion on Israel-Palestine conflict, no opinion about the war, pro Halachic (religous) state. * United Torah Judaism - Ultra-orthodox jewish party (Askenazi), basicaly commies + radical conservatives, no opinion on Israel-Palestine conflict, no opinion about the war, Anti-Zionist & pro Halachic (religous) state. Opposition: * National Unity (resigned in 2025, was in the coalition) - Liberal center-right, small support to the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Yesh Adit - Opposition leading party, Liberal centrist, supports the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Yisrael Beiteinu - Liberal right wing, opposes the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC/Iran's regime. * Hadash - Arab commies/tankies, radical left, supports hard the two state solution, against the war, Anti-Zionist. * Ta'al - Arab leftists, supports the two state solution, against the war, Anti-Zionist. * United Arab List - Arab right wing, conservatives and islamism, supports two state solution, against the war (there are hard evidence that the party was involved with organizations that are related to Hamas), Islamism. The only islamic party that was even part of Israel's goverment (2021-2022). * Israeli Labor Party - Left wing, social democrats, supports two state solution, against the war (after Yair Golan won the primaries). And about the general public in Israel: Most support the war.

"Argentina might attack the Falklands". WITH WHAT? The F16s the RAF can shoot down? Their non existant navy???

Britain could lose the Falklands because of weak leadership. It's not the 80s anymore, there's no Thatcher in charge and the UK is a depressing shell of its former self. If Argentina simply walks in and takes over, possibly soon with Trump's approval, what exactly will Keir Starmer do? Send an angry worded letter? Would he even care at all?

Europeans think they can walk to MetLife ????? FROM MANHATTAN ??????

Someone on here said much of the Western United Staes is still essentially a bunch of city-states connected by thin strips of asphalt running through wilderness This is very, very true

Empty oil tankers are heading to the US in large numbers to load crude and gas, driven by global supply disruptions. Reports suggest 100+ tankers are moving toward US ports as buyers shift away from Middle East supply risks.
