Opposition: * National Unity (resigned in 2025, was in the coalition) - Liberal center-right, small support to the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Yesh Adit - Opposition leading party, Liberal centrist, supports the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC. * Yisrael Beiteinu - Liberal right wing, opposes the two state solution, supports the war against the IRGC/Iran's regime. * Hadash - Arab commies/tankies, radical left, supports hard the two state solution, against the war, Anti-Zionist. * Ta'al - Arab leftists, supports the two state solution, against the war, Anti-Zionist. * United Arab List - Arab right wing, conservatives and islamism, supports two state solution, against the war (there are hard evidence that the party was involved with organizations that are related to Hamas), Islamism. The British military is a shadow of what it was in 1982 and HM Forces would be incapable of retaking the Falklands today.

Britain could lose the Falklands because of weak leadership. It's not the 80s anymore, there's no Thatcher in charge and the UK is a depressing shell of its former self. If Argentina simply walks in and takes over, possibly soon with Trump's approval, what exactly will Keir Starmer do? Send an angry worded letter? Would he even care at all?

The only reason Japan has an "overtourism" problem is because y'all keep going to the same four of five places in a country that has so much more to offer.
Earlier this week I was at a beautiful lake with beautiful cherry blossoms. I saw only five tourists in my 3 hours there.

The reality is the US is not really able to build major infrastructure projects anymore. The same goes for roads, they’re not cheaper by any means.

This is why we chose freight rail over passenger rail and move people over long distances between cities via jetliner instead outside of the Acela Corridor.
And yes, it is in many ways a zero-sum game, most especially since fright trains can't use HSR tracks.
