I'm only going to say this once: LEAPS are by far the best way to grow a small account when done correctly. One contract. Exposure to 100 shares. A fraction of the cost. 12+ months of runway. Amplified returns. Defined max loss. No margin. No weeklies. No staring at charts all day. My results from LEAPS: - $IREN: 800% gain - $HOOD: 700% gain - $NVDA: 300% gain But this only works if you're disciplined about entry. Most people buy LEAPs at the wrong time, on the wrong stock, with the wrong strike and expiration. That's how a leveraged position bleeds to zero. There are specific conditions I look for before I enter, and specific rules around strike selection and expiration that keep the odds in my favor. Get those wrong and LEAPs will hurt you. Get them right and a small account can do things most people don't think are possible. Comment "LEAPS" and I'll send you my free cheat sheet - everything I use to find, structure, and manage these trades on one page.

Pushed a stack of 5/29 180s out to 6/18 190s for debit - figure I am just giving back some of the money I made on this trade on the way down. What I am realizing is if it moves fast I don't have alot more "out" that I can go to keep ahead of price. Anyway - some lessons being learned personally about this trade. Odd to want BTC/MSTR to go to the moon - but at the same time, for the sake of the CCs - to maybe go sideways till I can fix my positions.

@HermesLux Lowest strike is 5/29 170 and a bunch at 5/29 175 - price is moving fast today too. MSTR going up is a good problem. Will look to roll next week.

@SimonDixonTwitt @xueqinjiang Debate? He should just humbly admit he'd appreciate a Bitcoin 101 explainer as he might have been off track on this subject.

Bitcoin is simply a set of rules that cannot be broken by anyone. They are enforced by maths and code on the largest distributed supercomputer in the world, backed up by tens of thousands of nodes. @xueqinjiang happy to do another debate to explain where the servers are, respectfully.
YoDaco@DacoMax

@SimonDixonTwitt @10s_20s LoL, what rules? Bitcoin was invented to break the rules😇😁😂

@HermesLux I've got a backup copy running on hardware in my basement if that helps - if we can find a couple more people to host them perhaps .... nah. We're doomed.

@btc_overflow maybe ... but till then you can sell at any time. I can't think of any "No Risk" investment with the attributes of STRC.

$MSTR / $STRC are not without risk, but most criticism is astonishingly bad and gets basics wrong. The main risk is and always be whether long-term BTC CAGR exceeds the cost of financing. It is, to no one's surprise, a bet on BTC.

He did a great disservice to people that really could most use STRC to get a comparatively excellent dividend while protecting initial investment - because someone used simple analogies and comparisons to help explain it. "Like a bank" doesn't mean - "It's definitely a bank" Glad he's getting those clicks though.

🔥COFFEEZILLA REFUTED - STRC IS THE GREATEST FIXED INCOME INVESTMENT EVER🔥 Coffeezilla just made an 18 minute CHARACTER ASSASSINATION on Strategy by saying it was comparable to a PONZI SCHEME. He made ZERO arguments in his video, provided ZERO mechanisms by which the structure is fraudulent, and provided ZERO proof that Strategy hasn't disclosed the proper risks. This didn't stop thousands of people from immediately thinking that Strategy is FRAUDELENT. DO BETTER, COFFEEZILLA. THIS IS YOUR RECKONING:

@KurtSupeCPA You "Built a healthcare bridge?" sounds like some complex advice worth charging for.

A couple 58 and 59 years old Both executives at large corporations Decades of climbing the ladder Here is their situation Combined income: $280,000 401k balances: $2M Brokerage account: $540,000 Home: paid off Pension: none Healthcare: unplanned until Medicare at 65 Social Security: planning to claim at 62 They were exhausted Both wanted to walk away from their jobs today Their question to me was simple Can we retire right now Most advisors would run a Monte Carlo simulation and hand them a number We did something different First we told them to stop planning to claim Social Security at 62 Waiting until 67 would add over $1,100 a month per person for the rest of their lives Then we built a healthcare bridge using their brokerage account to cover the gap until Medicare at 65 Then we started Roth conversions immediately to shrink the IRS's share of that $2.1 million before RMDs hit They had the green light to retire But the real work was building a plan to maximize every dollar Most people spend 30 years focused on saving the money Very few have a plan to maximize it once it is time to use it
