A lot of people move to El Salvador and say “there’s no community” nothing to do.. make your own community. Hang out with locals. Learn the damn language. Support small businesses and get your kids in classes from dance to boxing. Support the local economy 🚀🇸🇻

That’s the issue. We got a beautiful piece of property for around 275k only has 3 flat acres the rest is cliff/mountains. To develop with road, water, electricity will be another 200k so.. it’s expensive and there’s not a lot of space for lots on 3 acres. If you want to give big lots

I used to complain a lot about land prices before I started developing land for communities. Building houses.. I’d look at a lot and say how can this cost 100k yet there’s manzanas for 20k For those looking to buy land in a foreign area I will tell you my experience. When you buy raw land for cheap.. it has no roads. There’s “cheap land” yet in the rain season the roads are eroded and not accessible for many weeks. Depending on how far it is from a main paved road you can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to make roads with proper concrete drainage. You’re also fixing the roads for all of the farms in between and 9/10 times they won’t pitch in. You’re raising the value of their farms for free. You won’t have electricity. That can cost 70k to above. Water? If there’s no water on cheap land.. you need to dig a well. That can cost 70k and above. It’s not just a well. It’s the pump, the tubing.. And if you want water pressure you need to build a large tank or a tower. That is not cheap. Developing land can cost a lot of money if you want to do it right. We have 5 farms in central South America. We’ve built schools. Repaired neighborhoods.. the experience to say.. before buying cheap land.. do you have the budget to develop it for your needs? If not.. buy smaller lots that cost a bit more but have Roads Water Electricity 🇸🇻🚀

@MURPHSLIFE All valid and crucial factors when developing land & you likely learned the hard way unfortunately. But there is one more crucial detail that I would like to add and it's political... Even if you have 💰💰💰💰💰, sometimes you can't build what you want because of: ZONING.
