I've said before that ship captains during the age of discovery were some of the most impressive human beings to ever live. We have trouble appreciating just how unimaginably great these men were. They had to play the role of navigator, cartographer, astronomer, logistics manager, military commander, judge, police captain, diplomat, CEO, recruiter, accountant and governor, all at the same time, and all under extreme duress, out in the middle of the ocean, cut off from the rest of the world where the penalty for one wrong decision was the death of everyone on board. These are some of the most brilliant and gifted human beings the world has ever known. Nobody on Earth today can come close to matching them. They had a level of both skill and physical courage that just doesn't exist on the planet today.

These guys live in New York and have a permanent parking spot outside their home. They were doing repairs on the sidewalk and parked their car across the street until the cement was dry. A man comes along and sees a free parking spot and takes it. So the homeowners call the cops the next morning. The cop tells them this person has gotten 20 other parking violations. After the ticket is written, the homeowner can then call a tow. The next evening, 24 hours later, the neighbor shows up looking for his car threatening to sue them. Should the homeowners not called the tow or should the neighbor had asked to park in their spot?

It’s amazing to consider that four populated continents border the Atlantic Ocean but for centuries none of them, except Europe, produced a single person who managed to navigate it from one side to another. In fact there is no evidence that any tribe anywhere in the Americas ever even thought to cross it. There was one possible reported expedition from west Africa going the other way but all of the ships were lost, if they were ever actually sent at all. Outside of that, as far as we know, no Africans ever tried to cross it either. Certainly none ever succeeded.
Europeans alone had the vision, the courage, the skill, and the ingenuity to pull it off. They not only traversed the unknown sea, but built empires that stretched across it. They don’t want you to learn much about the true history of western civilization because if you do you will learn how incredibly exceptional it is, and has always been.

I was assaulted for my work as a journalist while riding home on a bus in Philadelphia. While looking out of the window minding my own business, a known ANTIFA agitator sitting directly behind me started yelling at me claiming that I was a rascist and a fascist. I started recording for my own safety when she became aggressive. After I started recording, she lunged at my phone to take it from me. Ian was able to grab the phone and continue recording while she punched me over the head and pepper sprayed me. She temporarily retreated but got back on the bus and approached us again. While I tried to reason with her she pepper sprayed me directly in my face and attempted to attack me again. The bus driver then kicked her off the bus and drove away.
