Tejas Mk1A vs J10CE BVR Combat Analysis: As Tejas Mk1A near induction & it will be deployed in frontline airbases, we may see combat b/w them soon. In Jet Vs. Jet analysis, Tejas Mk1A gets first shoot advantage at ~ 141KM on J10C, thanks to its small RCS, AESAR & new Astra series

A critical analysis of the Indian #Zorawar light tank reveals inherent vulnerabilities stemming from its foundational design choices. The vehicle’s architecture controversially places reserve main gun ammunition stowage within the frontal hull. This is a high-risk configuration given the platform's current NATO STANAG 4569 Level 4 frontal ballistic envelope. While STANAG Level 4 provides heavy-duty protection suitable for light armored and combat support vehicles, mandating 360-degree defense against 14.5×114mm Armor-Piercing Incendiary (API/B32) heavy machine gun fire (such as the Russian KPV) at 200 meters with an impact velocity of 911 m/s, alongside localized mine blasts and close-range artillery fragmentation, it is inadequate for front-line mechanized combat. The platform's inability to defeat higher-caliber kinetic threats without risking a catastrophic ammunition cook-off has likely forced the developmental team back to the drawing board to pursue enhanced protection upgrades. Compounding these survivability concerns, the vehicle's baseline hull protection reportedly sits at only STANAG Level 2. In an asymmetric or high-intensity combat scenario, this baseline leaves the platform highly susceptible to catastrophic structural failure in the event of a massive improvised explosive device (IED) or heavy anti-tank mine detonation. A comprehensive technical evaluation of these survivability trade-offs and the program's ongoing redesign efforts will follow in our upcoming detailed analysis. #MilitaryTech #Defense #LightTanks #ArmoredWarfare #Zorawar defencegda.com/the-future-of-…
